GAI
OUR MISSION & HISTORY
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES.
Greenhouse Art Initiative is a U.S registered non-profit, founded by Oreoluwa Adeniji.
It started as an "idea" so she took a leap of faith and organized the first-ever "GAI Talent Show" in 2023 which took place in partnership with "Little Saints Orphanages" in Lagos, Nigeria. The skillset training and summer talent show was such a success, and the impact it made on the children was so remarkable, that it propelled her to take it a step further and register GAI as an official non-profit in 2024.
Mission: To empower underprivileged children primarily in Nigeria and the State of Maryland by nurturing their creative talents through sustainable skillset training, mentorship programs, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We aim to provide the tools and support necessary for these children to realize their full potential and achieve lasting success.
Vision: To create a thriving community where every child can develop their abilities, grow with confidence, and lead a healthy, and fulfilling life.
"Defend the rights of the poor and needy." (Proverbs 31:9)
We are committed to connecting talented children with essential resources and opportunities, thereby fostering their creativity, and ensuring their wellbeing.
